Getting to the conference venue

The fastest and easiest way to get to the conference venue is the tram. There is a tram station right in front of main station building (Bahnhofsvorplatz, northern exit). Tram lines 2 , S1, S4 , S11, S41 will take you directly to KIT South Campus. For your orientation: The trams going to the right when viewed from the exit of the main station building are heading in the right direction. Alight at Kronenplatz. From here it is just a short walk to the conference venue.

You will need a ticket for the tram. You can buy this as an extension of your long distance rail ticket from German Rail. Ask for a City mobil-extension when buying the train ticket.

Alternatively, tram tickets can be bought at the vending machine at the tram station. Do not forget to stamp the ticket after boarding the tram!

Exit the tram at Durlacher Tor / KIT. The campus is to the left in the direction of travel.
